Freehold Township is ideally located in Central Jersey, making it just over an hour to Philadelphia and New York City. Numerous bus stops are located along Route 9, which you can take to Port Authority in New York. You can also take the train from the Aberdeen-Matawan train station to Penn Station or take the ferry from Middletown for a more scenic route. Of course, you also have the option to drive directly to the city. Its location also makes it convenient for many Jersey Shore beaches, such as Belmar, Asbury Park, Avon, and Spring Lake.
The Freehold Raceway Mall is in town, and Six Flags Great Adventure is only 15- to 20-minute away. So, living here, you are close to many things, and there is always something to do.

High priority is placed on student performance and staff accountability, and more than 87% of the students go on to pursue higher education. Both of my kids are currently in magnet programs in the district, and I can tell you firsthand what an excellent program and opportunity it is for them.
