This week I decided to show some love to Freehold events and hi-light what is going on with local businesses. As always, I am interested in hearing about new businesses, upcoming events, or anything else going on in the community that you think is cool. I am especially interested in hearing about things that are happening in Monmouth County but I won’t say no to hearing about fun happening in other parts of New Jersey

Freehold Events

Yoga in a Greenhouse

Saturday, April 20 at 9:30 AM
89 Howell Road, Freehold
You do a yoga class and then you pick your own salad greens, herbs and microgreens. Beyond Organic Growers are the hosts behind this. It just sounds so interesting to me, I had to share! This farm is family owned and provides veggies for tons of local restaurants It is $10 to attend and you have to bring your own yoga mat.

Student Run Businesses Flea Market

Wednesday, April 17 at 6 PM to 8 PM
47 Sherwood Drive, Freehold
Students at C. Richard Applegate School in Freehold, NJ are selling REAL products to REAL customers! Seriously, these kids have actually started their own businesses as part of the TREP$ program. If you’re like me and question the quality of products being sold by kids, then check out their Facebook page. It is mind blowing the work these tiny entrepreneurs have done.
