Now or Later?

Now or Later?

The question is now or later. This is the time of year many homeowner’s may be thinking of selling and ask, “Should I sell my house now, or should wait for the spring market?”

To answer this question, first, you need to ask yourself if now is the right time for me? If the answer is yes, I highly encourage you to take this opportunity to sell now, while inventory is low, meaning there are not many homes currently on the market in Monmouth County NJ for sale. Yes, in the spring and summer you will have more buyers coming through your door, but they are not as serious as the buyers out there looking now. If buyers are out looking at homes with the holidays coming up and the colder months upon us, they are more serious qualified buyers.

This time of year, you have less competition because there are less homes on the market. According to the National Association of Realtors, listings are only on the market an average of 31 days right now.

So if it’s time for you and your family to move on to the next chapter in your life, now is definitely the right time to sell.
